VERDICT: Blue Anthem, a 170,000gns breeze-up purchase, boasts and attractive pedigree and is highly appealing on the back of his winning handicap debut at Wolverhampton at the start of this month. A 3lb higher mark should be manageable, as should the step up to a mile. Squires Treaty has C&D experience and is feared most on that basis, while Ventura Dream is an interesting handicap debutant.
