VERDICT: Maggiore (SWE) (12) was not disgraced when seventh in a Group 3 at Vincennes last month. This longer distance suits and he can bounce back to score. Hermes Deluss (4) is barefoot this time and clearly needed the last run. He was a good winner over this course and distance last year and will be a threat.
