VERDICT: Apprentice handicap and it is quite competitive. Tintamarre wasn't far off in a strong field and should enjoy the drop in class. He should go the extra on pedigree. Carnelo is holding form and would be deserving. He ran a decent race in a stronger heat last time and could show the strength of that form. Ombudsman ran a fair race last week and could build on that and challenge for the win. Futurewolff ran away with the win last time and not only has he secured the best of the draws but he has a 2,5kg apprentice claim. Most have some sort of claim - go wide in exotics.
