VERDICT: By The Way (4) won well at this course last time out. He has it all to prove over the Classic distance but remains a huge player. In case he happens to fare below-par, it may be wise to keep an eye on King Motif (2) who enjoyed a very productive end of 2024. He comes in this race fresh and can make his presence felt. Springboks (3) has had three comeback runs and did show some progress in the most recent one. Agelka (1) is better than her last effort at Chantilly suggests.
