VERDICT: Snow Punt was travelling nicely when getting the fourth-last hurdle wrong and crashing out at Limerick late last month. He had run well previously when second at the same venue over Christmas and looks capable of landing one of these now off his current mark. Apologise comes here on a hat-trick and looks the obvious danger. He beat the selection at Limerick over Christmas when making his first start for Gary McGill. The bargain buy is 4lb worse off with his rival now for a half-length success so there shouldn't be much between them again. Robindevidastar also comes here in fine form and is another for the shortlist.
