VERDICT: Messi Pass (10) looked a winner in waiting when runner-up at this track earlier this month. He should go one better this shorter distance. Mephisto Du Clos (11) was not disgraced when behind the selection last time out and will not go down easily. Mentalist Ar (9) is probably better over these short-distance races and can contest the finish. Mendeleiev (1) makes his debut but he would not be a surprise winner.
