VERDICT: The classy performer Rosario Baron (5), winner of the 2023 Grand Steeple de Paris, should be too smart for his rivals. He was lightly raced last year with only three starts, the most recent when fourth in the Prix Georges Courtois Chase (Grade 2) at Auteuil on December 8th over 4400m. He will be hard to beat. Kif Kif Bourricot (6) is improving and has won his last two chases, the latest, a handicap at this track in mid-January. Jumping Charlie (2) and Kalouka (7) are decent performers and can also have a say in proceedings.
