VERDICT: A promising second despite not jumping well on his chase debut over C&D last May, Mister Barclay returned with a highly creditable effort over the smaller obstacles at Exeter last month. That should have put him spot on for this, and the seven-year-old gets the vote ahead of Ronnies Reflection, who got off the mark with a taking success over shorter at Leicester over Christmas. Only worn down late on at Catterick last time out and raised 2lb, Hobb's Delight must enter calculations as well.
