VERDICT: The hat-trick seeking Hunter Legend is tough to overhaul when he gets his own way and with ground conditions very much in his favour, the Venetia Williams-trained gelding is fancied to enhance his progressive profile as a staying chaser. Fellow last-time-out winner The Kniphand is an obvious threat given his upwardly mobile efforts since being sent over fences. The class-dropping Monbeg Genius proved he is no back number with a respectable fourth in the Welsh National and is another must for consideration off 2lb lower.
