VERDICT: Golden Destiny displayed a smart turn of foot when quickening from the rear of the field to get up on the line in a similar course-and-distance event on Met Day. He'll need things to go his way again, given his hold-up running style but a 3-point penalty seems unlikely to halt his momentum. Tough Terrain is closely matched on that form and 1kg better off so he should be in the thick of it again. Sooty, Elsinore and Fort Red are capable of making their presence felt but a bigger threat should come from thriving best-weighted filly Captain's Destiny who ought to play a leading role on these terms.
