VERDICT: Bazball produced a better display in first-time cheekpieces when a respectable fourth at Newcastle on her most recent start and could go well off a 1lb lower rating. However, the vote goes to Starsong, who attempted to make every yard of the running before fading into fourth at Wolverhampton last month. The six-year-old is a previous C&D winner and can capitalise on her appealing mark. The Real McKay is next best.
