VERDICT: Jax Junior impressed at Doncaster in December before defying a penalty in fine style at Ascot the following month, and Lucy Wadham's gelding merits the utmost respect. However, it may be best to side with Califet En Vol, who bolted up at Kempton in November before finding only subsequent Challow Hurdle winner The New Lion too strong at Newbury next time. That piece of form looks extremely strong now, and he receives a confident vote. Junker D'allier can chase the pair home.
