VERDICT: Mountain Mike shaped with plenty of promise when a neck second on his hurdles bow over 2m4f at this venue last month and he makes plenty of appeal now upped in trip. The six-year-old might only need to find minimal improvement in order to shed his maiden tag and he edges the vote over Libre De Choeur. The Choeur Du Nord gelding cannot be taken lightly after his third-placed Rules bow at Warwick in December, while Pyleigh Master may fare best of the remainder.
