VERDICT: Jackpot Des Monts (4) was in good form before the last-start disqualification and gets the nod to score in a competitive-looking race. Jim Du Palais (8) was a good winner at Meslay-du-Maine in December and will not go down without a fight. Ignace De Baubrie (9) can follow up on the Lyon-La Soie success over a similar distance. Jolie Cadence (10) is capable of an upset on best form.
