VERDICT: General Wood (1) is holding form and ran well at Mons last month. He can go one better this time around. Hector De Corday (4) is proven at this level and should be very competitive. Idole Du Moncel (8) ran well over further at this track in his latest start and could be a threat this shorter distance. Ipsos Marancourt (2) struggled in a claimer at Vincennes but can surprise back in this division.
