VERDICT: Rimbault (9) was beaten less than a length on his latest start over course and distance on January 20th and on marginally better terms with Eastern Star (8) who beat him that day, he can edge this from his old rival. Athineos (1) ran well to be second over course and distance late last month in a Class 3 handicap and looks like a sensible option for the each-way backers. Beijinho (4) is also worth considering and should be on the premises.
