VERDICT: Not beaten far in a race that has worked out well at Exeter last time out, The Doyen Chief remains unexposed in this sphere and stepping up in trip could be ideal for this eight-year-old. He can score at the main expense of Pimlico Point, who has not been seen in action since May but went close at Uttoxeter on that occasion. Mount Gay Run is another to consider on his chasing bow, while Jupiter Allen cannot be ruled out either.
