VERDICT: Kaleidoscope Eyes came good on several promising starts when she made all over C&D a fortnight ago. The Mick Appleby-trained filly has the capacity to follow up off 6lb higher now she has proven that cheekpieces are an effective aid. Invincible Melody debuts in a handicap from a workable mark and, with a tongue-tie/blinkers combination tried, could have more to give now he steps up in trip. Previous track and trip winner Arlecchino's Rex is another to consider with new headgear added.
