VERDICT: Senior Montecristo bumped into an improver when runner-up on his last visit and can go one better now. The Havana Gold gelding was well-backed that day but had to settle for second behind Lost President, who went on to frank the form here on Monday. The selection may again be able to hold Movin And Groovin, who was two lengths behind in third last time. She is 4lb better off on ratings now but doesn't have a claimer on board this time. Brigid's Cloak ran a big race on her handicap debut here in October and is another to note on her return from a little break.
