VERDICT: Lahire was demoted to second in the stewards' room after making all at Market Rasen and only has a 2lb higher mark to contend with. With Brian Hughes taking over in the plate, he will prove very tough to beat. Admiral Fitz finished a well-held fourth at Ludlow in November, but he could get closer off 1lb lower on only his third handicap start. Kellie's Dream lurks on an appealing rating and is another to consider.
