VERDICT: Cave Article showed promise on his chasing debut at Wincanton and found real improvement when sent over an extended 3m2f at Sedgefield last month, coming out on top in a similar contest. A 7lb rise looks a little harsh given the winning distance, but there should be more to come from the six-year-old and it would be no surprise were he up to this task. Ribeye was no match for an impressive winner over C&D but holds every chance, while The Paddy Pie is also noted.
