VERDICT: One Last Glance won in decisive fashion when gaining a first success over the larger obstacles at Fakenham on New Year's Day and hasn't been too harshly treated with a 6lb rise. Halpha Soleil didn't run badly when fifth at Newcastle and may have more to offer in this sphere, but chasing newcomer Shattered Soldier gets the vote. The six-year-old didn't build on the promise of his Musselburgh third when ridden more forcefully here last month, but he comes from a stable that does particularly well with their chasers and his point-to-point experience should prove valuable.
