VERDICT: Asriel (5) won at Deauville in a manner that suggests he can follow up under a 2,5kg penalty, eased by his rider's claim. Shaloha (2) bounced back to form last time winning over the course & distance ahead of some of today's rivals and can go well again under the penalty. Sciantosa (1) wasn't far off the former in that specific race and is short list material too. Shirbawi (4) is an intriguing candidate on debut on this surface and returning from a break.
