VERDICT: Solid as a rock since returning from a lengthy break, Joker Des Chaliers (9) imposed over course and distance before convincing in a tough Class C over longer here early-December. Afforded time to recuperate, he comes here fresh and even though forced to break wide, he can still get the new year off to a flying start. Better-positioned behind the car, Jour De Fete (2) has been specifically prepared for this and with application can go far. As versatile as they get, Jotunn Du Dome (5) is well-positioned in front and steps marginally up in category with a good hand to play. Jolivert Du Gers (6) starts upsides, is currently enjoying a productive run of form and will not be far off the mark.
