VERDICT: My Boy Lollipop ran out an easy winner in the maidens. He looks to have more to come as a gelding and could be the one to beat. After finishing second best on the Highveld, Godspeed could open her account on the poly as she looks to be racing of the right mark now. Lions Eye's last run is best ignored. He won his maiden in good style and is open to further improvement. Winter Waves and Preemptive Strike both boast solid records on the poly and should be right there if the race is run to suit. Voldemort and Mc Dazzler are capable but both have drawn wide.
