VERDICT: The step up in trip worked the oracle for Whateys Quest as he ran out a taking winner over Limerick's extended 2m6f last month and this extra yardage could spark further progress from the seven-year-old. With that in mind, the Charles Byrnes-trained gelding is fancied to defy an 11lb rise to score again, possibly at the main expense of Read To Return. The latter is back over fences following a promising placed effort over timber at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day, while Silver King is also respected now tackling a longer distance.
