VERDICT: Most of these have questions to answer, but not Chapel Green following his impressive success over 2m at Musselburgh in November. A 6lb rise for that win appears to be fair and the eight-year-old tops the shortlist. The main threat is likely to be Cold Sobar, who was not disgraced on his return from a lengthy break at Carlisle last month. Fia Fuinidh failed to fire last time but is a player based on his previous form.
