VERDICT: In what looks a trappy affair on paper, the tentative vote goes to Cosmic Force. George Boughey's charge was last seen finishing down the field over 7f at Southwell on just his second start in a handicap 17 days ago but, back down to 6f sporting a tongue-tie for the first time, this well-bred type could open his account off 2lb lower. Miakoda was sent off a warm order when posting a disappointing effort over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton earlier this month but, now donning first-time blinkers, it will be interesting to see if his supporters return.
