VERDICT: This looks a trappy affair on paper so only a tentative vote goes to the unexposed Mix De Gris. Lucinda Russell's charge lost little in defeat when finishing runner-up in a first-time hood (retained) over 2m at Wetherby on his penultimate start and, making his handicap debut for his in-form stable, he looks the one to be with. Tan Law hasn't cut much ice in his qualifying runs but better can be expected now pitched into handicap company. Red Ned is also noted.
