VERDICT: Small but powerful field. Cats Pajamas has high-class sprint form but was third in the Grade 1 Durban Golden Horseshoe over this distance and could be up to the task. Quasiforsure is the specialist and he too has high-class form. He gives chunks of weight away but should be right there. Diani wasn't disgraced with his run in the Christmas Handicap and should prefer the drop in distance. Formagear is a lot better than his recent form, watch out.
