VERDICT: Mohawk Chief caught the eye when finishing a never-nearer second over 2m here on New Year's Day and a return to 2m4f may prove fruitful. Although the five-year-old will need to jump with more fluency, a race of this nature looks well within his compass. The 115-rated Aviation sets a good standard and Lucy Wadham's charge isn't taken lightly, while market support for point-to-point winner Dwight K Schrute would be interesting.
