VERDICT: Cases can be made for several of these but perhaps the well-handicapped Shaw's Cross, who runs off 9lb lower than his last winning mark, could be the answer. A respectable second and clear of the rest at Plumpton most recently, the veteran still retains plenty of enthusiasm for the game. Mortens Leam has won over this C&D and rates the chief threat, ahead of Supasunrise.
