VERDICT: Hawai Pont Vautier (8) caught the eye when 2nd on his reappearance at Bordeaux earlier this month. He needn't improve much to go one better here and is preferred to Gilberto (5), who reverts to the harness category after an encouraging outing under the saddle, and complicated Hot Summer (3) who will make life difficult for the principals if he remains wise.
