VERDICT: Many A Star made the frame at Chelmsford and Southwell, and stepped forward to get back to winning ways at Wolverhampton on Monday. He can defy his penalty, although The Thames Boatman was a good second here on the same day and looks very dangerous. He had Mc Loven half a length back in third when successful at this venue in September and that one has since gone close again at Lingfield. Monsieur Beaulieu has held his form really well since switching to the all-weather and is another to consider.
