VERDICT: Haaland couldn't quite hit the target at Kempton recently, but having been anchored in rear off a pace that held up, that third place finish can be marked up. The five-year-old competes from an unchanged mark today and should this pan out more favourably, he should go very close. Hedonista hit the woodwork at Newcastle earlier this month so is a leading candidate on that piece of form, while Sharp Distinction, who returns to the Flat having struggled over hurdles at Southwell last time out, is also noted.
