VERDICT: Cases can be made for most. Thriving Aspect failed to get over from a wide gate in a bigger field last time but should find the lead from a better draw in this smaller field. Hat's Pride finished ahead of that rival over 1400m and his earlier form suggests this trip will be more to his liking. He was 2nd in a similar course-and-distance race last month so is worth siding with off a 2-point lower mark. Promettere, Willie John and Solar Power are all closely matched on the form of that meeting but have a bit to find on these revised terms. Future Turn and versatile Call To Unite have claims too.
