VERDICT: Caldwell Potter arguably had his stamina tested too far when fading into third over 2m5f at Cheltenham last time and this drop in distance looks to be a good move. Paul Nicholls' seven-year-old sets the standard with a rating of 148 and if he can run to near that level, then he will prove very hard to beat. Gidleigh Park was reported to have an irregular heartbeat after running too bad to be true at Kempton on his seasonal return in November and is well worth another chance. You Wear It Well can beat Personal Ambition home for third.
