VERDICT: A change of tactics and an ease in grade paid dividends for Cloch Nua, who was on target in a similar event at Newcastle earlier this month. Stella Barclay's charge is once again weighted to go well so, kept to the same level, it would come as no surprise were he able to follow up. That said, Charlatan landed a C&D handicap on Tuesday and he must be taken very seriously along with Alyara, who looks certain to benefit from returning to a mile.
