VERDICT: The form of Beaumadier's Newcastle success over 5f last week has a solid look and the five-year-old appeals strongly now he has proven that reverting to sprinting can return a dividend. Given the son of Kuroshio is 1lb well-in under a penalty, this slight step up in class is a logical move if the quick turnaround doesn't catch him out. A three-time course winner, Toptime seems to raise his game at this venue and is feared most on that basis. The less exposed Miggy Magic completes the shortlist.
