VERDICT: City Of God, who is from the same family as 1000 Guineas and Irish/Yorkshire Oaks winner Blue Bunting, should be wiser after running green over 7f on his debut at Wolverhampton last month. The son of Kodiac got better the further he went on that occasion and stepping up to a mile can be beneficial here. War Hawk is feared most from the rest with experience. Any support in the betting for well-bred debutants Express Train and Tapis Rouge would be highly noteworthy.
