VERDICT: Unexposed four-year-old Brazilian Rose recorded her second C&D success on the bounce last Saturday and, given the manner in which she won that day, the 5lb penalty she must shoulder is unlikely to halt further progress. Hiatus bumped into an in-form rival at Southwell recently and should go close from an unchanged rating, while Strong Power continues to edge down the weights and isn't one to underestimate following a creditable third at Wolverhampton three weeks ago.
