VERDICT: So Darn Hot failed to justify short odds when beaten a neck into second behind Yes I'm Mali over 5f here in November, but the 1lb pull, along with the extra furlong, may help him to overturn that form. Even so, Cyclonite gets the nod. James Ferguson's three-year-old made his last juvenile start a winning one at Kempton and is only 6lb higher. With a previous course-and-distance victory aiding his cause, he has lots in his favour to go in again. Marchogion warrants a market check on his handicap bow.
