VERDICT: Fergal O'Brien landed this prize with the smart Dysart Enos in 2023 and he will be hoping Dream Shadow is of a similar ilk. She created a favourable impression when winning at the second time of asking under Rules in a Uttoxeter bumper in October and, with the promise of more to come, she must be respected. That said, Getawhisky is narrowly preferred. She scored in the style of a potentially smart mare when coming from well off the pace to land the spoils over 2m1f at Carlisle in November. Charisma Cat is also noteworthy.
