VERDICT: Mighty Oak Lad has gained good experience in handicap company and looks up to winning one of these restricted beginners chases now. The Doyen gelding kept on without troubling the front two when third to Individualiste at Navan last month and this is a nice race for him, for horses rated 100 or less over hurdles. John The Diva ran well in a similar contest at Tramore, when third on his chase debut, and looks like an obvious danger. The Charles Byrnes-trained On Your Way has shown glimpses of ability over timber and is one to note on his chasing bow.
