VERDICT: Never easy to derail when focused, Jaika Des Fanes (13) has taken no time getting back in shape, sports a new configuration for the occasion, and should have the measure of the field. Joncquiere (15) achieved her first goal of the season though and races barefoot again. Unfortunate not to secure the 3-timer here late last month, Just Pretty One (5) will be driven by his handler this time who will be expected to put things right. Lightly-campaigned and unseen since last July, Jongleuse De Bry (1) is barefoot for her re-entry and, if tuned-up, could even win this.
