VERDICT: A tough nut to crack when unshod and focused, Jipet De Crepin (9) has won twice for Eric Raffin this winter and will be expected to confirm. Janko Haufor (3) finished a determined and close runner-up to him last month and should again figure prominently, but he may first have to defer to the reconfigured Jewel De La Cote (10) who has caught the eye more than once recently. Jacomo Bello (2) left quite the impression here a fortnight ago and will be no soft touch.
