VERDICT: Goody Four Shoes is a dark horse as he has finished unplaced in three maidens, but might better today's 115 perch. The seven-year-old didn't race until November but he finished behind two subsequent winners from each of the Punchestown maiden hurdles he contested in November and December, shaping quite nicely latterly. Rockymountainbleu was receiving weight when defeating Sounds Victorius at Punchestown and with there being no disgrace in finishing behind smart types at that same course last month, should compete under his claimer. Both Palamon (now tried in blinkers) and Heroes Rise flopped over C&D in November and while Heroes Rise subsequently ran well at Thurles, he would prefer a longer distance.
