VERDICT: Hailing from a family that trainer William Haggas has had success with, Purple Rainbow made a perfectly respectable start to her career when beaten only a length on debut at Wolverhampton over 7f last month. Stepping up in trip should bring about improvement and she may have too much for Arabian Leopard, who was promising fourth over shorter here on her most recent outing. Less than two lengths behind her in that contest was Mehmas Shy Angel (seventh), who since showed plenty of promise when finishing placed at Wolverhampton.
