VERDICT: Pals Battalion successfully completed a C&D double when scoring by a neck here last month and the handicapper might have been kind to only put him up 2lb. David O'Meara's four-year-old was worth more than the winning margin suggests on that occasion and he could prove very hard to beat. Mondammej carries a 4lb penalty for his victory over 5f at this venue six days ago and is likely to be thereabouts. Airman takes a drop in grade and is another to note.
