VERDICT: Joyce Angot (15) is in very good shape and has a decent shot of taking out this competitive opening event. Judith D'arbaz (14) flopped at Vincennes last time out but will do a lot better this trip. Java De Foliot (10) fluffed her lines with disqualification at Vincennes earlier this month but could bounce back to be a lively danger. Jalfrazie (7) is usually competitive and is clearly not out of it.
